Cheryl Rathjen is a Licensed and National Board-Certified Animal Massage Therapist trained in Maintenance, Performance and Rehabilitation Massage. Creating open communication between all members of the animal’s community, she designs her sessions to fit the needs of each particular patient. Cheryl is trained in many facets of Animal Massage Therapy, including Swedish massage techniques, manual lymphatic drainage, scar tissue massage, maintenance massage, hospice care and post-surgical and rehabilitation massage techniques. She works not only with dogs but also with cats, rabbits, goats, sheep and pigs.

Cheryl grew up in a small rural community in WA state and has had a passion for animals her entire life. She was active in 4H showing her horse, cared for National Champion show sheep and spent much of her spare time at a dairy. She volunteers at a dog rescue center and provides love and care to those less fortunate.

Cheryl currently resides in Yakima, WA, with her husband Jeff and her beloved dog Polly.
Her business takes her to client's homes for in home care and throughout Washington state to various types of dog events
